CMDBuild 4.3 is now available – October 14, 2026
We are pleased to announce that the new CMDBuild 4.3 was released on October 14. This release introduces many new features and connectors, designed to make the platform more customizable, more effective and fully aligned with regulatory requirements: from the new home page to dashboards, from relationship analysis to artificial intelligence, up to user activity tracking.
Main new features:
- Role-based Home Page: every user immediately finds the information and tools most relevant to their work. Administrators can build operational and management views by combining summary indicators, data lists, charts, calendars and text content, without custom development. In addition, cross-model search across the entire data model, based on both CMDBuild’s standard engine and AI engines, makes it possible to find what you need in an instant.
- Completely renewed Dashboards: a new look, clearer and more readable, along with new components to monitor what matters in real time. Tiles with numeric indicators to highlight KPIs, always up-to-date lists, a calendar to plan activities and deadlines, and a Pareto chart to support data-driven decisions.
- Dependency Tree: reading dependencies and impacts has never been so easy. The new hierarchical representation of relationships between CMDB elements speeds up analysis, troubleshooting and impact assessment. The tree can be configured based on the domains of the data model, and node icons and colors can highlight operational status, critical issues or classifications at a glance. It can be added to the navigation menu or opened directly from an element’s card.
- Artificial Intelligence integration: data and documents stored in CMDBuild become easily accessible knowledge. The new plugin-based architecture makes it possible to query them with AI tools and to choose the engines best suited to each organization’s needs. For its customers, PAT provides integration with PowerFinder, its AI solution for immediate access to advanced search and information-enhancement capabilities.
- More tools for NIS2 compliance: tracking of user activity, such as logins, record access and other relevant operations, provides a detailed history of interactions with the system. A concrete support to strengthen audits and checks, increase visibility over access to the most sensitive information, and respond more promptly to anomalies and security incidents.
- New data integration connectors (non-open feature): less manual work and more consistent data thanks to the automatic acquisition and synchronization of information from external systems such as Microsoft Azure Entra ID, Microsoft Azure Resource Manager, Claroty, Dynatrace, GLPI, Google Cloud and NinjaOne.
- An even more complete platform: menu icon customization, a more consistent user interface, optimized permissions and authorization management, updated software libraries for greater security and stability, and enhanced data import and export.
